Summer Open Day Update – British
Thomas CotterellShare
WELCOME everyone to our Summer Open Day here in England. The weather forecast is not good, but the heaviest rain appears to have passed by earlier this morning. However, the only flooding you will see is the flood of wonderful specimens as you enter our showroom. Indeed, the mineral forecast is excellent, with long spells of fine classic minerals throughout the day.
As you will see, this newsletter has been sent out half an hour before the doors to the showroom open to provide everyone with an equal opportunity to purchase the update specimens, whether that is from the comfort of your home, or sat with your complimentary breakfast roll in the village Café next door.
The advantage is, that once you are in the showroom you either know which update specimens to look out for, or, you can focus your attention on the thousands of other amazing display specimens which include a wonderful selection of British Fluorite specimens from the Jesse Fisher and Joan Kureczka Collection. These Fluorites have been intentionally held back from the update to give those who attend in person the chance to see them first.
Those of you here will also see that we have a large number of antique mineral cabinets (drawer units) for sale, and many books on British minerals and mining-related themes.
I appreciate that this is an update where time can be of the essence, so I will let you get on with looking over the specimens and making your choices. For some, I will see you very shortly in the showroom.
Have a great day, whether you are with us in East Coker, or elsewhere.
Please note: Today's featured specimens are all situated at our UK showroom.
