A small miniature of micro-crystallised Olivenite with a cluster of opaque milky Quartz crystals from Wheal Unity in the parish of Gwennap, Cornwall, England. Tiny Olivenite crystals, approximately 0.25 mm across richly coat a matrix of what appears on its top surface to be probable massive Olivenite while much of the base is an earthy, amorphous light pastel green suspiciously like Chenevixite. Olivenite and Chenevixite share a very similar chemical composition, the latter having the addition of iron II. A good little specimen of Olivenite from Wheal Unity, quite probably with Chenevixite.
