A reflected light polished mount containing at least 19 grains ranging in size from sub mm to 3 mm across. These contain the rare silver palladium selenide mineral, Chrisstanleyite, from the Type Locality at Hope's Nose, Torquay, Devon, England. Dr Chris Stanley worked at the Natural History Museum in London and studied ore mineralogy, including the gold-palladium occurrence in veins cutting limestone at Hope's Nose. This style of polished mount requires a specialist reflected light microscope in order to study the grains and the reflectance produced by this metallic mineral under plane polarized and cross polarized light. This is not our usual type of specimen, but included due to its rarity.
