A small thumbnail specimen from Mammoth-Saint Anthony mine comprising bladed aggregates of blue Diaboleite intergrown with white Cerussite on the surface of which are small areas of wispy, felt-like, pale green, silky, Wherryite. Mammoth-Saint Anthony mine is the Type Locality for Wherryite and renowned for the world's best Diaboleite. The The Wherryite shows typical colour and crystal form, but a microscope is required to really appreciate this specimen. The previous collection label has another unknown species marked for this specimen. It is not clear what this relates to but a small area of opaque white octahedral microcrystals might be of interest.
