Sturmanite can manifest in many colours and in this example the main double-terminated hexagonal crystal is dull toffee-orange with a mustard-yellow surface coating. This primary crystal measures 1.5 cm across flats and is about 1 cm tall; the smaller crystals are more translucent and of a dull lemon yellow.
