This miniature specimen is from Těškov quarry, Rokycany District, Plzeň Region, Czech Republic, a small quarry which works Cambrian age Quartz-Porphyry known to contain unusual phosphate minerals. The specimen consists of rusty Quartz veinstone upon which a cavity is richly covered in pink spherules of Strengite up to 2 mm in diameter along with a few other unidentified phosphates. Under magnification the Strengite 'spherules' are seen to be sprays of pointed crystals. Some of the Strengite is slightly iron-coated, but much fresher and brighter crystals are also present. The specimen has passed through several collections, one of which, that of the famous German collector Dr. Hans-Jurgen Wilke, reveals that it was obtained in 1994
