An eye-catching lustrous small cabinet specimen of Olivenite from probably Cornwall's most celebrated copper mine, Wheal Gorland, in the parish of Gwennap, just east of Redruth. A sparkling lustrous druse of Olivenite crystals richly adorns the display face covering an area of roughly 5 x 5 cm. The Olivenite crystals are light to dark olive green and have formed over a cavity rich in white Quartz crystals on a dense Quartz vein matrix. A beautiful Olivenite from Wheal Gorland which will display superbly.
