A simple 'Y-shape' structured specimen of beautiful, arborescent branching Native Copper crystals. This splendid ex-matrix specimen is from the Rubtsovskoe Cu-Zn-Pb deposit at Rudnyi Altai in the Western Siberian Region of Russia. Individual crystals grow to well over 1 cm in length and may easily reach 2 cm. It is difficult to estimate where one crystal ends and another begins, hence a little leeway in their maximum length. The Native Copper has a gorgeous bronze-milk chocolate patina, as all the best Copper specimens do, and a slightly waxy, metallic lustre. An excellent example of nicely crystallised Native Copper.
