I have to admit Fluoro-richterite is a species I have little experience of however, the Richterite Group is defined as sodium-calcium amphiboles with each individual species having a more dominant anion, in this case fluorine in the form of fluoride. This striking example displays many large, often double terminated, black Fluoro-richterite crystals of up to 6 cm long and up to 3 cm wide with good lustre, set in a matrix of snow-white Feldspar, probably Nepheline. Silvery bronze books of Phlogopite Mica crystals are distributed among the Feldspar and also sit directly on the Fluoro-richterite.
