With a list of famous mineralogical and gemological authors as long as your arm, its chapters cover themes as diverse as the formation of Diamonds, worldwide diamond production statistics, famous diamond-mining fields, famous gems and how to grade them, but also the processes involved in creating lab-grown diamonds, and famous thefts. The quality and selection of images is excellent and although softback, the glossy cover is well-produced with a quality feel to it. Brand new, sealed.
