A single Bournonite crystal, 1.7 cm across at it widest point, sits amongst perfectly crystallised, bright metallic silver rhombohedral Arsenopyrite crystals overlying a bed of 1 to 2 mm Quartz crystals. From the P?'bram mining district in the Czech Republic, the Bournonite has the habit of a modified octahedral crystal and although not complete, is a good example of the species. It must be pointed out the Bournonite has a crack running through it, side-to-side, but as both sections are completely anchored to the Quartz-covered matrix, is perfectly stable, and fixed. An attractive small miniature with excellent lozenge-shaped Arsenopyrite crystals.
