A very fine cabinet-sized display specimen of Baryte from a little-known Scottish occurrence. The Baryte forms a dense aggregate of tightly clustered upright colour-zoned tabular crystals with minor surface coatings of powdery Malachite providing a nice contrast in colour. The Baryte crystals are a very pale pink colour in the centre, with opaque white edges. There is some minor damage to a small number of the Baryte crystals, but this requires close inspection and does not detract from the overall aesthetics.
