This is a competition quality, world-class Tsumeb miniature. Not only that, but it features two rare species which combine aesthetically to produce a truly exceptional piece. Tsumeb mine is renowned for the world's best crystals of Zincolivenite and this specimen demonstrates why. Forming a slightly radiating fan-like array, the Zincolivenite presents its classic wedge-shaped crystal form but with the magical vibrant angelica-green colour and translucent 'wet' resinous lustre only ever seen in the finest Tsumeb specimens. The central, and longest crystal reaches a staggering 2 cm in length and the whole spray is perfectly formed with no damage. This sits perfectly on a contrasting matt, mustard yellow matrix of the even rarer species Gartrellite. This combination is unique to Tsumeb and makes for a really marvellous combination.
