An excellent and very rich vivid emerald-green Zincolivenite, formerly named Cuproadamite. Adamite and Olivenite form a continuous solid solution series, with Adamite forming the zinc-rich end member; the copper-rich end being Olivenite. Zincolivenite lies within the 75:25 and 25:75 percentile boundaries. A mid-grey sulphide-rich matrix is heavily veined with massive Zincolivenite and lustrous crystallised Zincolivenite lining two broad, shallow vugs, measuring 3.5 x 1.5 cm and 2.5 x 1.0 cm respectively. Several small white patches within the Zincolivenite are likely to be the equally rare species Schultenite. Zincolivenite occurs in each of the three oxidation zones at Tsumeb mine.
