This miniature specimen from the famous Tsumeb mine features some of the most unusual Zincolivenite crystals that you will ever see. Featuring an intriguing stepped-habit these crystals are also colour-zoned with pale mint-green main central crystals, and darker emerald-green secondary growth on the wings of the main crystals. Not only are they unusual, but they are large too, reaching 1.3 mm in length. The finely stepped habit gives rise to a sawtooth appearance, whose teeth have a sucrosic micro-granular texture. The crystals are aggregated together upon a very thin piece of matrix, but the majority on the specimen is Zincolivenite. This delightful Zincolivenite comes mounted on a clear acrylic base for display.
