A particularly well formed crystal specimen of the uncommon Zinc Sulphide Wurtzite, from Karolytaro, Hungary. The lustrous inter grown cluster of Wurtzite crystals are seen as elongated hexagonal cone shaped habit terminated by a pinacoid face. Crystals of Wurtzite measuring to 2cm, and are coal black in colour. Areas of tiny prismatic white Quartz crystals, with scattered crystals of yellow metallic Pyrite are on the Wurtzite. A neat specimen with excellent crystal habit.
