A single, highly lustrous terminated crystal of Tourmaline from within the Malkhan pegmatite field in Chitinskaya Oblast', Russia. Vertically striated prism faces surround the deep bottle-green Tourmaline crystal, the upper two-thirds of which are virtually black. The first third grades to a deep sour apple-green and the pyramidal, three faced termination is almost black, but richly shot through with bronze and golden-lime translucent and highly reflective zones. A little snowy-white Cleavelandite, a variety of Albite feldspar, is attached around the base. A splendid Russian green Tourmaline.
