A rare small miniature composed of intergrown plates of metallic silvery-gold Sylvanite from the Emperor mine in Fiji; a seldom seen location in mineral collections. Sylvanite is a gold-silver telluride. Between the Sylvanite blades are scattered micro-crystals of an orange-lemon-yellow undefined mineral species, mainly as tiny crystalline granules, but also as crystals. The Emperor mine, also known as the Vatukoula mine, remains in operation and works a gold-silver epithermal vein deposit in the central-north of Viti Levu island.
