Stibnite occurred at many of the mines within the P?'bram District of the Czech Republic, and although the exact mine is not known for this specimen, it is a magnificent example, both for the quality and abundance of crystals. This specimen is essentially a solid divergent fan of acicular Stibnite crystals, with individual crystals approaching 4 cm long. These are bound by a mostly hidden iron-stained Quartz matrix, only visible in a small area at the rear. The Stibnite crystals are gunmetal-grey with a steel-blue hue and a metallic satin lustre. An excellent specimen.
