A well formed, barley sugar orange crystal of Spessartine Garnet measuring to 1.4 cm sits in the central area of a pastel pink Spodumene crystal. This is the variety of Spodumene known as Kunzite and in this specimen forms excellent double terminated crystals with striations parallel to each crystal's length. Extending down from the Kunzite is a triangular appendage of pure white Albite Feldspar. This gorgeous specimen is from from Dara-i-Pech in Konar Province, Afghanistan.
