Probably the most well-known and sought after mineral combinations from the Broken Hill Orebody, of Rhodonite crystals with Galena. The specimen we have is from the North Mine. Rich intergrown and free standing gemmy to translucent raspberry red crystals of Rhodonite measure to 1cm, with metallic bright grey Galena sections between them. A classic specimen of Rhodonite crystals from the mine. The mine was first developed from 1885 to 1993, Milton Lavers was actively collecting in the later years of the mine's life.
