Vivid bright lemon-yellow Pyromorphite crystals to about 3 mm tall are densely scattered over a thin (yet strong) plate of likely Coronadite, with a sintered texture. The entire top surface of the plate is covered with Pyromorphite, but where the latter are small micro-crystals, they adopt the dark grey colour of the underlying matrix, but with a high glassy lustre. This forms an excellent contrast with the yellow Pyromorphite and the many milky-grey-white Cerussite acicular crystals which average 6 to 8 mm long. A most attractive and eye-catching Pyromorphite with Cerussite from the MMM mine at Broken Hill, New South Wales, Australia.
