For this location, a rich specimen of yellowish lime-green to light grass-green Pyromorphite mostly forming a druse of micro-crystals covering the display face of a characteristically Quartz crystal covered matrix, stained rusty tan and brown with Limonite. This Pyromorphite was collected from the Quartz breccia in the Upper Adit of Bwlch Glas mine near Talybont, in the county of Ceredigion, Wales. The combination of the grass-like carpet of subtly bright green tinted Pyromorphite against the drusy crust of Quartz crystals makes a delightfully aesthetic specimen from Bwlch Glas.
