Santa Eufemia is a Municipality lying within the Los Pedroches valley in the Sierra Morena mountain range of Andalusia, Spain. The area contains several famous Spanish Pyromorphite localities whose characteristics are readily recognisable to this area yet display many variations in colour and colour-zonation. This small cabinet specimen is a great example of colour-zonation with most of the display surface covered in small, intergrown hexagonal prisms of Pyromorphite of a yellow-tan colour, with lighter coloured pinacoid terminations. The Pyromorphite crystals reach up to 5 mm in length and are on a Quartz matrix.
