Penberthy Croft mine is renowned for its diversity of supergene (secondary) mineral species but is probably best known for the world-class crystallized Bayldonite specimens extracted from stopes extending off from Daw's Shaft during the 1990s. This small, but richly crystallized bright lime-green Pyromorphite specimen was probably collected during this exploration. Small miniature in size, the small acicular Pyromorphite crystals cement brecciated oxidized vein material. Ex Malcolm Southwood collection.
