A superb long and narrow miniature of acicular hexagonal barrel-shaped crystals of clove-brown Pyromorphite from the Junction mine at Broken Hill, New South Wales, Australia. A few dozen crystals to 1.4 cm long richly coat a thin platy sucrosic matrix. The translucent crystals have flat pinacoid terminations and exhibit horizontal colour zoning normal to their long axis, with coloured bands of clove, root beer and cinnamon. A beautiful and undamaged miniature Pyromorphite.
