The mine dumps of the enigmatically named Society Girl mine at Moyie in British Columbia, Canada, were worked some years ago for mineral specimens and this most attractive pencil of lime-green lenticular Pyromorphite crystals is typical for the location. The individual crystals are intergrown to form a rope-like tread, one side of which is coated in lemon-yellow micro-crystals of either Pyromorphite or Mimetite. A charming small miniature of Pyromorphite from the Society Girl mine, Canada.
