A most attractive group of well-formed Pyrargyrite crystals measuring to over 1 cm with a dark grey metallic lustre on an undefined metallic golden granular mineral. The complex Pyrargyrite crystals stand proud of the matrix allowing them to be displayed to full advantage, albeit their natural blood-red colour is entirely masked by an altered surface coating due to the light-sensitive nature of this species. An impressive specimen from the St. Andreasberg mining district in Saxony, Germany.
