A particularly fine old-time specimen of Pseudomalachite from Ľubietová (Libethen), Slovakia, renowned as one of the greatest localities for this rare copper phosphate species. This small cabinet-sized display specimen shows excellent coverage of glossy blue-green to light green botryoidal Pseudomalachite, with depositional banding very apparent, on milky vein-Quartz matrix. The Pseudomalachite crust reaches 1 cm thick in places and is extremely rich. An accompanying old handwritten label looks to date to the 19th century. A superb example from this all-time classic location and ex Professor Werner Paar collection.
