A stunning specimen and excellent example of Pharmacosiderite from the world famous Wheal Gorland mine at St. Day, close to Redruth in Cornwall. A typical Cornish Quartz veinstone matrix with brown ferruginous staining is deeply incised with large vugs, all of which are completely lined with lustrous deep leaf-green cubic Pharmacosiderite crystals, typically about 1 mm on edge, but many slightly larger. An extremely rich and showy specimen from this much sought after locality and comes complete with an original Sir Arthur Russell handwritten label.
