Heavily oxidised, crystallised Native Silver pervades a matrix of mm-sized Calcite crystals to form a heavy silver ore specimen capped with gnarled ropes and wires projecting above its surface. The Native Silver varies from rose-gold to sooty matt black where it is probably coated in a fine film of Acanthite. The wires protrude to almost 2.5 cm, starting as rope-like structures near their base gradually untangling to a Medusa-like array of separated, snaking wires. An excellent Native Silver.
