Well-developed crystals of Native Copper form linked chains across and extending out from a white and biscuit-tan matrix of cryptocrystalline Calcite. From an unattributed locality in Siberia, Russia, the Native Copper has a rich and varied patina, ranging from reddish and golden bronze shades of copper through to darker shades of chocolate brown. Individual crystals measure up to 1.5 cm long and tend to merge into one another to form simple linked branches. A terrific example of well crystallised Native Copper from Siberia.
