A fine dendritic example of Native Copper measuring 8 cm long, with a bias of dendrites to one side of the specimen's spine, composed of sharp and well defined crystals of faded terracotta with a slight metallic lustre. From the Broken Hill mining district in New South Wales, Australia, this is an excellent and aesthetic example with no damage, resembling a sapling blowing in the breeze! Like in so many mining districts, the exact mine from which the specimen came was not recorded, so only the mining district's name can accompany the specimen.
