This is a magnificent, competition-quality Legrandite miniature from the premier locality - Ojuela mine, Mexico. A wedge-shaped piece of gossanous matrix is crowned by two freestanding clusters of glossy, golden-orange, well-formed bladed Legrandite crystals. Both sprays feature undamaged crystals reaching 1.2 cm in length and sit perfectly for viewing. One fan-like spray commences at one end of the specimen and points inwards with superb wedge-shaped terminations. The other - a divergent spray - rises from along one edge of the specimen with the main crystal pointing towards the first spray with a superb termination. Its other crystal, rising in the opposite direction, is not fully terminated from where it grew against another piece of matrix, but has a nice rich colour and fine bladed sides. A stunning Legrandite.
