A thin plate of Hematite-rich Dolomite is entirely coated on one face with transparent, colourless and very pale blue Fluorite cubes, forming a slightly stacked mound. From the Ullcoats mine, just east of the town of Egremont in west Cumbria, England, the orebody was also exploited by the Florence and Beckermet mines. The Fluorite crystals have of the base of the specimen where it is tinged deep flesh-pink by finely divided Hematite inclusions. A splendid Fluorite from the classic Ullcoats mine.
