Well developed, translucent to transparent cubic crystals of a delicate mid-apple-green from the West Pasture mine near Stanhope in Weardale, County Durham. Crystals up to 14 mm on edge completely cover the 11.2 x 10.9 cm surface of an iron-stained limestone matrix. This mine is known for its distinctive colour of fluorite, different to all other mines along the Weardale valley. This is a particularly fine specimen for its beautiful citrus apple shade.
