A beautiful cluster of cubic Fluorite crystals tending towards sea-green and lightly dusted with sparkling, highly lustrous micro-crystals of Quartz. This specimen is from the world-famous Height's mine, sometimes referred to as Height's Pasture, at Westgate in Weardale, County Durham. Fluorite cubes attain 2.1 cm on edge and range from transparent near their edges to translucent towards the core. The specimen displays mild daylight blue fluorescence and bright blue-white fluorescence under LWUV.
