A beautiful and classic small cabinet specimen of Hilton mine Fluorite displaying a major gemmy interpenetrant twin. The specimen probably came from the Dow Scar Level which was developed to work a replacement orebody. The Fluorite crystals, measuring to 1.8 cm, are a golden amber to acidic lemon yellow with a fine glassy lustre. The crystals cover a light brown ferruginous Limestone matrix and create an aesthetic gemmy display. There are some imperfections to a few crystals which is reflected in the price, yet this remains an extremely choice specimen and one which cannot be mistaken from anywhere but Hilton.
