The Xianghuapu mine, Xianghualing, Hunan Province, China has produced some truly exceptional Fluorite specimens. Perhaps most notable of all are the sensational, glassy, pale green razorsharp cubes, some of which can reach staggering dimensions. This cabinet specimen features beautiful, colour-zoned, glass-like cubes of Fluorite to 3 cm on edge, aggregated together as twins. The outer edges of the Fluorite cubes are an unusual light green, or sea-green colour, for about 6 or 7 mm, inside of which are colourless to white 'phantom'. centres. The crystals are all really sharp and perfectly formed, with three or four tiny cleaved corners - the main one being on the back of the specimen. Highly distinctive in form, and appearance, and very attractive.
