A miniature specimen from the famous Heights mine at Westgate, Weardale, County Durham with two gemmy Fluorite crystals perched on smaller cubic Fluorites and a matrix of massive Fluorite. The largest crystal measures 1.7 x 1.5 x 1.3 cm and is almost entirely transparent save for wispy pale sea-green and purple inclusions and displays beautiful colour zoning, parallel to the prism faces. The surrounding small Fluorite crystals often have a very fine-grained sucrosic coating of white Calcite (or possibly Quartz).
