A gorgeous cabinet specimen of Fluorite from the now highly regarded Xianghualing mine in Hunan Province, China. The specimen displays a well-formed composite of two inter grown gemmy light lime-mint green Fluorite crystals measuring overall to 4.6 cm. The Fluorite crystals show excellent cubic faces with stepped habit on the cube edges and corners, probably the result of oscillatory growth between the cube and octahedral faces. A small intergrowth of green Fluorite is seen to one end of the specimen. Colourless Fluorite crystals are also in association. A fine Fluorite from the late Michael P. Cooper collection (Cat. No. 2001-4).
