A single, translucent to gemmy pale candy pink Fluorapatite crystal, measuring to 2.8 cm, displays a pinacoid termination with bevelled edges on hexagonal prism faces. From the Nagar District in the Hunza Valley of Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan, the Fluorapatite is associated with edge-on platy crystals of silver-tan Muscovite. The Fluorapatite has mirror-smooth faces (both prism and pinacoid) and a terrific glassy, bright reflective lustre.
