This highly distinctive specimen is a classic from the Shaft No. 21, or what is also termed Uranium mine No. 21 at Háje, near Príbram area in the Central Bohemia Region, Czech Republic. There, Dyscrasite, a rare silver antimonide, forms unusual delicate flattened bladed crystals rising up from massive dull grey Native Arsenic matrix. Sometimes these blades are replaced, or pseudomorphed, by Native Silver but this has not been reported on this lovely cabinet-sized specimen. A fascinating crystal form and an icon of Czech mineralogy. Ex Professor Werner Paar Collection.
