A charming small miniature of lustrous gemmy to translucent emerald green Dioptase crystals measuring to 8 mm scattered over a contrasting creamy druse of Dolomite crystals. The underside of the specimen displays intergrown Dioptase crystals with a sprinkling of colourless-white Dolomite crystals, with some minor micro-chipping to the Dioptase. From the Tsumeb mine in Namibia, the Dolomite bears a delicate lemon yellow tinge which is highly attractive and unusual set against the Dioptase. Also nestling within the Dolomite and beneath a Dioptase crystal is a small yet lovely tabular lustrous acidic lemon Wulfenite crystal.
