A fine sparkling small cabinet specimen of drusy Cuprian Smithsonite from the Tsumeb mine in Namibia. The display face of this translucent peppermint green Smithsonite has a partly botryoidal surface, with localised spots of blue green Rosasite. On the reverse face the Cuprian Smithsonite is partly covered by a secondary deposit of white Smithsonite. The Smithsonite envelopes a roughly 1.5 cm thick plate of iron-stained Dolomite forming an aesthetic rib which is equally displayable from any side. An excellent Cuprian Smithsonite from Tsumeb.
