This magnificent larger specimen of pale candy-pink Cobaltoan Smithsonite from the world-famous Tsumeb mine in Namibia is encrusted with beautifully colour-zoned curved lenticular crystals, the largest reaching 1 cm across. These translucent crystals display a predominantly pale pink body colour, but each with three orange internal zones, making for a striking display. The Smithsonite crystals coat a mixed grey, silver and peacock-coloured sulphide matrix. Ex James Robison Collection.
