A small miniature of milky-white Quartz veinstone is richly coated with two of the famous Cornish copper arsenates, Cornubite and Clinoclase. The Cornubite occurs as a deep leaf-green, thin micro-botryoidal crust on top of the Quartz. Over this has grown acicular micro-crystals to 2 mm of deep inky to electric-blue Clinoclase. Together these two species are classics of the Bedford United mine, close to Tavistock in south-west Devon, England.
