A rare old-time pure crystallized aggregate of Cerussite from Leadhills, Scotland (probably the Susanna mine). The specimen displays a compact, slightly reticulated habit of Cerussite measuring to 5 cm across with a creamy-white colour and some associated residual Galena on one side. This Cerussite crystal habit is known from Leadhills, but is very seldom seen in specimens available for sale, only in older museum collections. There is bruising to the Cerussite, but older crystallized aggregates of Cerussite from Leadhills are very rare. Ex Michael Harris Collection (Conwy, North Wales).
