Two large, lustrous, smoky sherry-brown tinted Cerussite crystals dominate this fine specimen from the Tsumeb Mine in the Otjikoto Region of Namibia. These two crystals, 1.8 x 1 x cm and 1.2 x 1.2 x 1.1 (approximately) perch on a limonitic-cemented matrix of granular micro-Cerussite crystals. The surface surrounding the two main crystals is richly covered with clear and colourless-glassy Cerussite crystals all about 2 to 3 mm. It is interesting to note all are single crystals; an unusual habit at Tsumeb, where Cerussite is normally twinned.
