Two well-formed scalenohedral Calcite crystals form a V-like configuration, with several further Calcite crystals in inter-grown association. At the specimen's base, a crystallized botryoidal aggregate of deep rich green Malachite has formed, with a sparkling crystallised velvety surface. Crystals of Calcite are selectively coated on some faces by slightly tinted pale sky blue Chrysocolla, with areas of light brown Goethite. The two dominant Calcite crystals measure 8 and 7 cm tall respectively and are tinted delicate pink. This stunning cabinet specimen is from the famous Mashamba West mine in the Kolwezi mining district of the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
